Most recently the chief strategy officer of the Billboard-Hollywood Reporter Media Group, Stephen Blackwell founded the lifestyle brand Death and Taxes. Prior to his career as an entrepreneur, Stephen Blackwell attended Fordham University in New York City, where he majored in English.
With a rich Jesuit and Catholic heritage, Fordham University seeks to help students develop and mature academically and creatively, while simultaneously engaging the world around them. To that end, the university’s core values reflect a commitment to excellence in all efforts, care for others, and social justice. Fordham offers acclaimed programs and opportunities to apply skills gleaned in the classroom to the community at large, focusing on marginalized and underrepresented populations.
This outward focus of Fordham University is manifested in volunteer programs, service learning opportunities, and internships with nonprofit organizations. The Dorothy Day Center for Service and Justice, named for the American Catholic social justice advocate, organizes these activities.
